Shillong, May 4: Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma on Monday congratulated PM Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah for the BJP’s victory in Assam and West Bengal, stating that the mandate reflects people’s trust in their leadership.
Sangma, who heads the National People’s Party, stated in a social media post that the electoral success is a reflection of the public’s confidence in Modi’s “visionary leadership” and his steadfast commitment to development and good governance.
He also congratulated Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma praising the BJP’s outstanding performance under his leadership. Sangma said these electoral outcomes manifest the people’s endorsement of policies focused on progress and inclusive growth.
