Shillong, Feb 16: The State government today announced that elections to the Garo Hills Autonomous District Council (GHADC) will be conducted on April 10.
Cabinet Minister Wailadmiki Shylla told reporters after the cabinet meeting that the election will be notified on March 9.
The last date for filing of nominations is March 16. Nominations will be scrutinised on the same date and the last date for withdrawal of the nominations is scheduled on March 17.
Results will be declared on April 14.
