Shillong, Nov 24: The body of an unidentified man was recovered from a jungle near the National Highway 6 at Khliehkuliang Pamlum, East Jaintia Hills district on November 19, police said today.
The man, aged about 26-years old is suspected to be a non-tribal. He was wearing a red colour half pant and measures about 160 cm. The man also had a small mole on his right chest.
An inquest was conducted on the spot. The body was then taken to the Civil Hospital Khliehriat for post-mortem examination.
Police have call for identification and claims.
