Shillong, Nov 11: Union Minister of State for Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution Banwari Lal Verma visited Ri Bhoi district to review the implementation of centrally sponsored schemes under the Aspirational District Programme.
Accompanied by senior officials, including Jonathan Shylla and Erik K. Dkhar, ADCs of Ri Bhoi, and E. Pradhan, Assistant Commissioner, the Minister inspected key locations such as the One Stop Centre in Nongpoh, Mawtnum Fair Price Shop, Umdihar Food Processing Unit, and Umroi Health and Wellness Centre.
The visit aimed to assess the impact of development schemes and ensure effective delivery of government services.
