Four leaders of different political parties from West Jaiñtia Hills today joined the ruling NPP at a function held in Jowai which was also attended by NPP national president and State Chief Minister Conrad Sangma.
The new entrants into the NPP include West Jaiñtia Hills District Congress vice president Nehemaya Tyngkan, BJP leader Krison Langstang, West Jaiñtia Hills Trinamool Congress coordinator Lasting Suchiang and Jowai Congress candidate in the last Assembly election Daniel Dan.
Thanking the four leaders for joining the NPP, Sangma said that the party would work hard to win the Lok Sabha election from the Shillong seat.
During the programme, Sangma also released the campaign song for NPP candidate Ampareen Lyngdoh.
