Shillong, Mar 8: A job fair was organised by the office of the Sub-Divisional Employment Exchange of Mairang at the Tirot Sing Memorial Hall, Pyndengumiong, Mairang, yesterday.
The event saw participation from 275 job seekers.
Additional Deputy Commissioner, VV Hynniewta, encouraged participants to make the most of the opportunities provided through the job fair.
Maj Pranav Bharadwaj motivated attendees to consider joining the Indian Armed Forces, showcasing the benefits and opportunities available, particularly through the Agniveer recruitment rally.
To further inspire the attendees, video clips showcasing the life of soldiers, pay packages and various benefits and opportunities in the armed forces were screened.
Nine employers participated in the job fair, including Gorentifynet Prime Pvt Ltd, Chillibreeze and TATA AIA Life Insurance Co Ltd.
