There were 14 new Covid-19 cases recorded in Meghalaya in the last week, along with 13 recoveries and no fatalities.
East Jaiñtia Hills accounted for one new case, East Khasi Hills five, North Garo Hills one, Ri-Bhoi two and West Garo Hills five. There were 571 Covid tests carried out in the same period, giving a positivity rate of 2.45 per cent.
East Khasi Hills accounted for five recoveries, Ri-Bhoi two, South Garo Hills one and West Garo Hills five.
There are 27 active cases in the state – East Jaiñtia Hills one, East Khasi Hills four, North Garo Hills one, Ri-Bhoi two, West Garo Hills 19 and West Jaiñtia Hills one.
In all, Meghalaya has had 96,737 Covid-19 cases, out of which 95,086 have recovered and 1,622 have died.
