There were 13 new Covid-19 cases recorded in Meghalaya in the last week, along with 16 recoveries and one fatality.
The lone Covid-related death was in West Jaiñtia Hills.
East Khasi Hills accounted for five new cases, Ri-Bhoi one and West Garo Hills seven. There were 497 Covid tests carried out in the same period, giving a positivity rate of 2.62 percent.
East Jaiñtia Hills accounted for one recovery, East Khasi Hills four, North Garo Hills one, Ri-Bhoi two and West Garo Hills eight.
There are 24 active cases in the state – East Khasi Hills five, Ri-Bhoi one and West Garo Hills 18.
In all, Meghalaya has had 96,750 Covid-19 cases, out of which 95,103 have recovered and 1,623 have died.
