A youth from Meghalaya who is undergoing rehabilitation at a rehabilitation centre in Golaghat town of Assam committed suicide at the centre.
According to reports, Harbat Rengaij Lyngdoh who is an inmate at the God Grace Foundation, a rehabilitation centre in Golaghat, took his own life by hanging in the bathroom.
A team of local police and the magistrate arrived at the scene following the incident.
The body was sent for post-mortem with officials looking into all possible angles surrounding the incident.
