Additional Chief Secretary Donald P. Wahlang has been appointed as the Chairman and Managing Director of Meghalaya Energy Corporation Limited (MeECL).
Besides, Wahlang will also be CMD of the three MeECL subsidiaries – MPDCL, MPGCL and MPTCL.
He was also appointed as Additional Chief Secretary in charge of Home (Police) and Home (Political) departments.
However, he has been relieved of the Secretariat Administration Department, Public Works Department and Forest and Environment Department.
