The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has announced to make online updation of Aadhar documents free for the next three months until June 14, 2023.
The facility for document update, which has started from March 15 is available free of cost through myAadhaar portal (https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/).
East Jaintia Hills Deputy Commissioner in a press release today said this is done to encourage residents to keep their documents updated in Aadhaar. This helps in ease of living, better service delivery, enable accurate authentication and continued accuracy of information in the Aadhaar database, the statement said.
