Shillong, Sep 9: An unidentified male body was found lying dead at Umtyrnga-Barapathar road in Ri-Bhoi District at about 10:30 am on Tuesday, police said today.
Enquiry was conducted but the deceased could not be identified. After legal formalities, the body was shifted to the Civil Hospital Mortuary, Nongpoh.
The deceased is described as swarthy complexioned, wearing a blue and white stripe long sleeve shirt and blue long pant.
Relatives and acquaintances who can identify the body are requested to contact Police Control Room (PCR), Nongpoh at 6909300160.
