Contingents from the College of Post-Graduate Studies in Umiam and College of Community Science in Tura are participating in the 8th Central Agricultural University (CAU) Inter Collegiate Youth Festival, Games and Sports Meet in Sikkim.
Both colleges are affiliated to the CAU Imphal. The event, which began yesterday, is being hosted by the College of Horticulture in Sikkim.
Sixteen students and two staff members from Umiam and 34 students from Tura are taking part.
Badminton and table tennis are two sports being held. Other events include rangoli, elocution, extempore speech, debate, painting, etc.
The three-day event will conclude on Saturday.
