Shillong, Jul 2: The Synjuk Ki Nongsynshar Shnong Ka Bri U Hynniewtrep (SNSBH) has congratulated the Synjuk Ki Waheh Shnong ka Ri Jaintia, including the Rangbah Shnong and Dorbar Shnong of Khliehriat West and the VDP for their alertness which resulted in the detection of a Covid-19 patient who had attempted to avoid being tested for the virus.
Pointing out that the efforts of the Dorbar Shnong have also been acknowledged by the Director of Health Services (MI), Dr. Aman War, the general secretary of the SNSBH, R L Blah said, “It was through the vigilance and alertness of the Dorbar Shnong who informed the concerned authorities that the branch manager who came from Assam violating all the protocols was detected and found to be positive for Covid-19 after he was tested.”
He further urged all the other Dorbar Shnongs to replicate the example set by those at the helm of affairs in Khliehriat West by being extra vigilant of the entry of people in their respective localities.
