Supercare Hospital has announced that its Department of Laboratory Science has been officially accredited by the National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL) in accordance with the internationally recognised standard ISO 15189:2022.
The NABL assessment involved a rigorous evaluation of the hospital’s laboratory processes, personnel qualifications, equipment, quality assurance protocols and overall operational excellence.
“This accreditation is a testament to the skill, dedication, and precision of our Laboratory Science team,” said Dr RS Thangkhiew, Managing Director of Supercare Hospital.
“With the NABL accreditation, patients can have even greater confidence in the integrity and accuracy of our laboratory services,” added Damien Marwein, Chief Operating Officer.
The NABL accreditation places Supercare Hospital among a select group of healthcare institutions in the region recognised for meeting international standards in laboratory medicine.
