A meeting with representatives from state Olympic associations across the country was convened by President of the Indian Olympic Association, Padmashri PT Usha at the New Delhi Olympic Bhavan.
The meeting was held to discuss progress and development of sports in various states.
Meghalaya State Olympic Association (MSOA) president John F Kharshiing and working president Finely L Pariat attended the meeting.
The agenda focused on the upcoming National Games in Uttrakhand, CHhattisgarh and Meghalaya and the crucial matter of voting rights for state Olympic Associations.
A total of 20 state sports associations were represented at the meeting, a press release said.
