Star Public School has been chosen as a pilot institution in East Jaiñtia Hills district to implement ‘Hybrid Learning, Digital Literacy and Skill Hub Initiative’ with support of Microsoft and CBSE.
Under this initiative all the teachers from the school are being trained on digital literacy skills, hybrid learning program and skill hub initiative and are declared microsoft educators.
The initiative is implemented as per the guidelines under Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojna 3.0.
Principal of the school, Dilip Kumar informed that the school will provide skill development and vocational training opportunities to target population segments from in-school students of classes 9 to 12, school dropouts and out of education candidates.
“With the increasing importance of technology in our daily lives, digital literacy has become an essential skill for people of all ages and backgrounds,” he said. As digital literacy can enhance creativity and innovation, allowing individuals to express themselves in new and exciting ways, he pointed out that with online courses and resources available it will improve personal and professional development.
