One suspected drug dealer was arrested by South Garo Hills police in the third drugs bust of the month in the district.
The arrest was made yesterday after police received information provided by an informant. The arrest of the suspect led to the recovery of 10 packets of methamphetamines, amounting to 1,923 tablets weighing a total of 188 grammes.
A case has been registered at Baghmara Police Station under national drug prevention law as the amount of drugs was of a commercial quantity.
