Sohra MLA, Gavin M. Mylliem was today elected as president of the NPP East Khasi Hills District Committee.
The election of the new office bearers was made at the meeting of the NPP East Khasi Hills at the Shillong Club.
Mawkynrew MLA Banteidor Lyngdoh and KHADC chief executive member Pyniaid Sing Syiem were elected as working presidents.
Nongshken MDC Grace Mary Kharpuri, Mawphlang MDC Lamphrang Blah, Mawsynram MDC Alvin Khyriem Sawkmie and Nongspung-Sohiong MDC Sherbor Mawlong were elected as vice presidents.
The general secretaries include Aibor Tynsong, Jansing Tynsong, Malcolm R. Mylliemngap and Wonderson Dkhar.
Auspicious L. Mawphlang was elected as treasurer.
The party also appointed ten secretaries and they include former Mawhati MLA Dasakhiatbha Lamare, Firstborn Dkhar, Alan West Kharkongor, K Beni Warjri, Richeal Wankhar, Bhaboklang Ryntathiang, Rito Sing Syiem, Kistoles Marbaniang, Traibor Nongkhlaw and Iantly Jyrwa.
Jiedsing Kurbah was elected as adviser. Besides, 26 executive members were also elected to the new body.
