The District Commerce and Industries Centre (DCIC) in Cheranggre, Tura, hosted the valedictory programme of a one month skill training on make-up artistry on Thursday.
The programme, held in collaboration with Rajiv Gandhi Computer Training Centre and Nursery Teacher Training Academy, Shillong, saw the participation of 25 trainees who undertook the training from May 12 to June 12.

In his speech, Deputy Director of Commerce & Industries W Warshong highlighted the significance of the training, noting how it has opened new opportunities for independent professionals.
Aggarwal emphasised the importance of the training in providing self-employment opportunities and its potential to contribute to the state’s economic growth.
Aggarwal also released the DCIC annual office magazine, as well as certificates and stipends of Rs 1,000 to the trainees.
