On the video that showed him violating the code of conduct, Mominin said that it was related to another visit to interact with people of a village on matters related to Covid situation and that no loudspeakers were used during the interaction. He also assured to fully comply with the code of conduct in future.
In another incident, the returning officer yesterday issued a show cause notice to the election agent of the Congress party in Rajabala regarding mammoth gathering at an election meeting held yesterday beyond the permissible audience strength fixed by the Election Commission.
In his reply, the election agent admitted to the violation of the code of conduct and said that he had taken some measures to limit the number of audience within 1000.
He also stated that the crowd during the event exceeded the permissible limit due to their zeal to hear the star campaigners of the party who addressed the gathering.
