A ‘Run for Unity’ marathon was organised by the Seng Samla Dum Dum to celebrate its 25th anniversary.
The committee members flagged off a marathon to inculcate strong sporting spirit. Speaking on the occasion, general secretary Richmond B L Nonglait emphasised that such events will act as a springboard for youngsters in their efforts to bring laurels to the state in the future.
Wonderful Pakyntein, the locality elder declared the marathon open.
A slew of events are slated to follow from January 3, 2023 to January 14.
