With the aim to preserve the identity and culture of the Karbi community in Ri-Bhoi, the Meghalaya zone of the Karbi Cultural Society will organise a two-day festival on October 23-24 at Umwang village.
The 31st Zonal Karbi Youth festival is supported by the All Meghalaya Karbi Association.
The festival is meant for all Karbis residing in Meghalaya and the purpose of the festival is to showcase the rich culture of the community through competitions and traditional practices.
