Chairperson of the Ri-Bhoi Regional Committee on Boundary Settlement, Prestone Tynsong today informed that he would meet members of the committee within this week before a joint regional committee meeting with Assam.
The Ri-Bhoi committee is headed by Tynsong while the members include MLAs Sosthenes Sohtun, Mayralborn Syiem, Damanbait Lamare, and Charles Marngar besides KHADC MDC Jambor War. The deputy commissioner of Ri-Bhoi is the member convener.
“Most likely, I will fix a meeting with the members of the regional committee within this week and then a joint regional committee meeting with our Assam counterparts will take place,” Tynsong said.
