A two-week refresher course for college and university teachers was organised by UGC-HRDC, NEHU in collaboration with the Department of Commerce, NEHU.
The inaugural function was held yesterday and was presided over by Prof. N M Panda, Department of Commerce, NEHU.
Prof. A D Pati, Dean, School of Economics, Management and Information Science, NEHU while speaking as the chief guest on the occasion emphasised on the need to educate and create awareness on the importance of the New Education Policy.
Others who spoke at the function include Dr. Quendarisa Kharbuli, Associate Professor, UGC-HRDC, NEHU and Dr. Ricky J. Syngkon, Coordinator, Department of Commerce, NEHU.
The programme saw the attendance of 34 participants from the North East region as well as from other states of India.
