Following public pressure against job recruitment through a retrospective roster system, the NPP-led MDA government today decided to temporarily suspend declaration of results and conduct of all recruitments in the State until further order.
The order to temporarily suspend declaration of results and conduct of all recruitments in the State was issued today by the Personnel and Administrative Reforms (B) Department.
“All stages of recruitment in the State and declaration of results of recruitment to various posts are hereby kept in abeyance until further orders. This has the approval of the Competent Authority,” the order said.
Copy of the order was also issued to the Secretary, Meghalaya Public Service Commission, all Deputy Commissioners, Chairman of District Selection Committees, Chairman and Secretary, Central Recruitment Board, and Chairman, Meghalaya Medical Recruitment.
