The number of persons who recovered from Covid-19 in Meghalaya has again surpassed the new infections for the second day today.
According to Director of Health Services (MI), Dr. Aman War, 248 patients have recovered from Covid-19 today while the number of new active cases is 104.
With this, the total number of recovered cases has gone up to 6282, while the active ones is 2151. Meghalaya has also recorded 75 deaths so far.
Of the 248 recovered cases, East Khasi Hills has 191 (armed/paramilitary forces four and others 187), Ri-Bhoi 18, South West Garo Hills 13 (armed/paramilitary forces one and others 12), South Garo Hills seven, South West Khasi Hills six, West Garo Hills four, West Jaintia Hills four, East Garo Hills three and North Garo Hills two.
The district wise breakup of the new cases are – East Khasi Hills 61, East Garo Hills 18, West Garo Hills 13, Ri-Bhoi eight, South West Garo Hills two, East Jaintia Hills one and North Garo Hills one.
