As part of celebrations of National Sports Day, the Meghalaya Chess Association will organise the One Day Rapid Chess Tournament 2024 on August 31.
The tournament will feature three categories – U-12, U-16 and open. It will take place at the Government Girls’ Higher Secondary School in Jail Road here.
There will be time control of 15 minutes plus 3 second increments. Trophies will be awarded to the category winners.
