An earthquake of 5.2 magnitude struck Manipur in the early hours of Wednesday, according to the National Centre for Seismology (NCS).
The quake, centred on Churachandpur district, hit at 1:54am and was felt as far away as Shillong and other parts of Meghalaya.
This earthquake was followed by two smaller tremors, of magnitude 2.5 in Noney district and 3.9 in Churachandpur at 2:26am and 10:23am respectively, the NCS said.
