Heavy rains lashed various parts of Meghalaya from yesterday night till today.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Pynursla recorded the heaviest rainfall measuring 253 mm followed by Mawsynram (208.7 mm) and Sohra (189.2 mm).
The other places which saw heavy rainfall included Khliehriat (140 mm), Mawkyrwat (130 mm) and Shella (101 mm).
The IMD has also predicted moderate rain at many places in the State tomorrow. It also issued a warning that heavy rainfall is likely at isolated places.
