Agrivision, a pioneering initiative aimed at advancing agricultural innovation today launched a poster for the first zonal convention-North East Bharat on ‘Futuristic Agriculture for Aatmanirbhar Bharat in the Eastern Himalayan Region’ in five different institutions in Meghalaya.
The programme was organised by Agrivision in collaboration with Central Agricultural University, (Imphal), Manipur, Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat, Assam and ICAR, Research Complex for NEH Region, Umiam.
The programme is set to pave the way for transformative agricultural practices, fostering sustainable growth and development in the region. It represents a collaborative effort to harness the power of innovation for the betterment of agricultural communities.
The poster release was held at CPGS-CAU, Umiam, COA-CAU, Kyrdemkulai, Home Science College, Tura, Agriculture Department, NEHU and ICAR, Shillong.
The event was attended by Dr. Anupam Mishra, Vice Chancellor, CAU Imphal, Prof. Prabhashankar Shukla, Vice Chancellor of NEHU and Vinay Kumar Mishra, Director, ICAR North Eastern Region.
The first zonal convention-North East Bharat will be held on May 17 and 18, 2024.
