Pine Mount School organised a 5.5K open category marathon on Saturday, attracting over 700 participants, including students, parents, and alumni.
The event was held in collaboration with Pine Mount Alumnae to celebrate the school’s 125th anniversary,
East Khasi Hills Deputy Commissioner Rosetta M Kurbah flagged off the race, and medals and certificates were awarded to all participants as a token of appreciation.
Toiar Naphi Kharjana, Mercinia Khriam and Lakmensha Lyngdoh Mawphlang won the marathon in the students’ category.
In the parents’ category among the male, Mickey Lambert Sumer stood first while Bisharlang Khongwir and Daphira Rani in second and third place respectively.
Among the females, the first place was earned by Sana Khan. The second and third place went to Mamta Rai and Tailishisha Wanniang respectively.
