In a bid to make financial literacy more engaging and accessible to the younger generation, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Shillong organised a painting competition for school and college students here yesterday.
The event was held as a precursor to Financial Literacy Week 2024 and around 150 students from different schools and 60 students for colleges in Shillong participated in the contest.
Students ingeniously portrayed the significance of budgeting, banking and understanding the financial system.
The painting competition is part of a broader initiative by RBI Shillong to empower the youth with financial knowledge in an innovative and engaging manner. The winners of the competition will be felicitated on February 26.
