Ampati, Oct 26: The Ampati Super League (ASL) football tournament concluded on Friday with the final match being played between Okrong Oktong FC and Saliram Boys.
The football tournament was organised by the Ampati District Football Association in collaboration with the District Sports Office and commenced on August 18. Eight teams from in and around the district took part.
Okrong Oktong beat Saliram Boys 3-1 in the final to claim the champions’ trophy.
Mahendraganj MLA Sanjay A Sangma attended the event as the chief guest and presented the awards at the prize distribution ceremony.
