The National Service Scheme (NSS) cell of NEHU organised a one day Yuva Samvad – India @2047 programme on the theme ‘India’s Panch Pran (5 resolves) – A Youth dialogue’ here today.
The programme was attended by 150 NSS volunteers from different colleges of Meghalaya. The speakers at the Yuva Samvad spoke on various topics in the broad backdrop of the theme India@2047 and in line with Panch Prans (five resolves) i.e. Goal of a developed India; Remove any trace of slavery or colonial mindset; Take pride in our heritage and legacy; Unity and Solidarity; and Sense of duty among citizens put forth by the Prime Minister.
The Yuva Samvad programme included a declamation contest. Trewasar Hadem of Thomas Jones Synod College, Jowai bagged first prize, Rezaul of St Anthony’s College, Shillong was second and Krishanu Deb of Shillong Law College was third.
