Shillong, Oct 29: North Liberty Higher Secondary School emerged victorious in the Inter School Futsal Knockout Tournament 2025 for girls, organised by Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Jowai, at Khimusniang Futsal Ground.
The tournament, in which 10 schools participated, was part of the golden jubilee celebration of Government Girls HSS. .
North Liberty defeated JNV Mukhla 4-0 in the final and the champions were awarded prize money of Rs 10,000, with the runners-up receiving Rs 7,000.
The chief guest at the closing was the District School Education Officer of West Jaintia Hills Waisa Sumer, while the guest of honour was TS Bamon, Rangbah Shnong of Khimusniang.
