Rainbow Kids Preschool, Nongrah, in collaboration with Iaisan Eye Care and Dr Dahokmanroi Rumnong, organised a free health and eye checkup today at the school premises.
School Principal D Rynjah said that the checkup aims to assess the children, keep track of their immunisation and remind parents of the importance of regular checkups and managing health problems.
She also said that given how the children spend a lot of time on mobile and computer screens, it is important to get their eyes checked and with recommendations of appropriate precautions and interventions.
Informing that the checkup was conducted for both parents and children of the school, Rynjah added that sometimes parents take checkups lightly as they have busy schedules.
