The National Service Scheme (NSS) Cell of North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU) will host the North East NSS Festival at its Shillong campus from June 19 to 23.
The event will be under the aegis of the Union Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports. The festival will be organised for 300 participants of the eight North East states with the objective of celebrating the rich cultural heritage of the region.
Meghalaya Governor Phagu Chauhan will be the chief guest and Education Minister Rakkam A Sangma the guest of honour at the inaugural function on June 19, starting at 4:30pm at the Multi Use Convention Hall at NEHU.
