The National Lok Adalat was today held across the State in which 292 cases were settled for an amount of Rs 1, 50, 43,766.
The number of cases taken up at the Lok Adalat was 1185, out of which, 776 are Pre-Litigation cases and 409 pending cases.
The National Lok Adalat was organised by the Meghalaya State Legal Services Authority under the aegis of the National Legal Services Authority (NALSA).
