A moment to remember which will go down in the history of notable achievements of our state for having a good number of recipients for various national awards and this auspicious moment shares the joy for Professor David Syiemlieh a well-known personality being honored with the Padma Shree 2025 a personality who has contributed his works through books and write-ups on literature and education from being a former UPSC Chairman as well, it has been a pride for our tribal community and for the state at large.
We need to have more role models in society and aspirants in various fields so that the world around recognizes our uniqueness and diversity we possess. May we have more people like Professor Syiemlieh in the coming years.
