Martin Luther Christian University (MLCU) conducted an orientation programme for its new students at the Don Bosco Hall, Laitumkhrah yesterday.
The event was organised by the Office of the Dean Academics and Dean Students, aimed to welcome freshers, and provide them with an opportunity to connect and build valuable relationships.
A total of 420 undergraduate and postgraduate students attended the programme.
Instead of adhering to traditional presentation, the university arranged a series of stalls featuring poster presentations delivered by the members of the MLCU Student Council, representing different academic philosophies of the University during the orientation programme.
Later, both undergraduate and postgraduate students joined in for the “Meet and Greet fest” which featured a plethora of engaging games and activities.
Donkupar Bosco Dhar from the Allied Health Science department and Mandy Dkhar from the Psychology won the Mr and Miss Freshers’ 2023 respectively.
