Martin Luther Christian University (MLCU) in collaboration with PRIME Meghalaya hosted its ‘Impact Week’ from July 4 to 11.
The week-long event was an initiative to foster innovation and leadership among aspiring young leaders in an inspiring initiative aimed at developing solutions for pressing issues of Meghalaya, like pollution, sustainable tourism, youth employment and waste management.
Impact Week commenced with a three-day training programme where senior coaches from the team shared their expertise and mentored junior coaches. This intensive training was designed to equip junior coaches with necessary skills and strategies to inspire and guide the next generation of innovators.
Following this, the remaining four days saw junior coaches taking the lead in training students from 15 different institutions across Meghalaya. These sessions offered a platform for students to engage in hands-on workshops and collaborative activities, emphasising creative problem-solving and innovative thinking.
