The Meghalaya Football Association’s (MFA) inter-district transfer window for 2024 will open on June 6, it was announced today.
Players seeking transfer from one district association to another within the state must obtain transfer forms in triplicate from the MFA office at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Polo, here on payment of Rs 100 per set from June 6 to 15 from 3-5pm daily (barring Sunday).
The forms must be duly filled in and forwarded directly to the MFA on or before June 20. The MFA will then send the pink and white forms to the player’s present district association by June 25. Forms without photographs are not valid.
The district association that releases the player must send the pink form to the MFA office by June 30, failing which it will be deemed that the concerned district association has no objection to the transfer. The white form is to be retained by the district association.
Players must present themselves at the MFA office to complete the transfer by signing the register between July 1 and 7 from 3-5pm. A transfer fee of Rs 1,000 will be payable at the time.
The MFA will then circulate the final list of transferred players to all district associations.
