Shillong, Oct 17: The Meghalaya Football Association, led by President Hamletson Dohling and General Secretary Sunesh Syiem, felicitated members of the Indian national senior women’s football team at the Jawaharlal Nehru State here on Friday.
Dohling, Syiem and other senior members of the MFA felicitated the Indian players and support staff – led by head coach Crispin Chettri – on their historic qualification for the AFC Women’s Asian Cup Australia 2026 and to wish them the best for the Tri-Nations International Tournament, to be held in Shillong, from 21 October, where India will play the Islamic Republic of Iran and Nepal.
