Cabinet Minister Paul Lyngdoh today stated that the Meghalaya government is paying ASHA workers good compared to other states in the country.
He said the ASHAs should have some appreciation for the payment they receive and urged them to discussion their grievances with the government.
“Every problem has a solution and we should have the spirit that works best for the state keeping behind that I am right and others are wrong,” he said.
Lyngdoh said the health minister was receptive to their grievances and took up the matter seriously even as he added that in any work it is very difficult to please everyone.
“When the minister concern has assured that the doors are always open for discussion…I think that there are limits for everything,” he said.
