Complaints of errors have delayed correction of answer scripts of the concluded written test for recruitment in the Meghalaya Police.
Central Recruitment Board Chairman, IGP Dalton P Marak said there have been numerous applications requesting correction of wrongly entered roll numbers, series and others.
Therefore, the board has decided to invite candidates to submit such applications, complaints, petitions, representations or any other issues related to the concluded written test on or before June 6, after which no complaint will be entertained, he said.
Marak said the department is contemplating on careful examination of answer scripts and OMR sheets of all the different nine examinations, with an aim to speed up the process in order to declare results early. However with correction requests, the process is slowed down.
