Members of the Meghalaya Estimate Committee today inspected the residential school located at Sabahmuswang in West Jaiñtia Hills district.
The committee led by Chairman and Nongpoh MLA Mayralborn Syiem, was accompanied by Mawkyrwat MLA Renikton L Tongkhar, North- Shillong MLA Adelbert Nongrum, Jowai MLA Wailadmiki Shylla, Selsella MLA Arbinstone B Marak, and Ampati MLA Miani D Shira, as they inspected the residential school to assess its status, condition, and infrastructure.
The members also met with the head of Sabahmuswang and the land donor for the establishment of the residential school to hear their concerns about the institution and its operation.
Later, the members were felicitated in Sabahmuswang’s community hall.
West Jaiñtia Hills Deputy Commissioner, Batlang S Sohliya, District School Education Offier, AP Syiem and PWD (Building) officials were also present.
