Mawlynrei village under Mawryngkneng constituency will soon receive a scheme under Jal Jeevan Mission of the Central government amounting to Rs 8.60 crore.
Recently, newly elected NPP legislator from Mawryngkneng constituency, Pyniaid Sing Syiem convened a meeting with officers of the State PWD and PHE departments and dorbar shnongs of Mawlynrei village to take the scheme forward.
In the meeting, officer from the PHE department A Khongwir informed that around 1000 households will benefit from the scheme.
David Pyngrope, Executive Engineer of PWD (Roads) department informed that roads in the village will soon be widened.
