Shillong Lajong FC will face off against Delhi FC tomorrow at 2 pm at the SSA Stadium in Polo Ground here.
After their last triumphant victory against Gokulam Kerala FC , Lajong are now set to battle against the fourth placed side Delhi FC, who so far have won two games, drawn one and lost one, thereby accumulating seven points from their four games.
In the pre-match press conference held earlier today, Delhi FC head coach Yan Law addressed that his team needs to be at their best if they want to come away with a positive result against the home side who so far are unbeaten while also applauding them for playing good attractive football and taking full advantage of their home support.
Meanwhile, Lajong, after a win in their last match and three draws currently sit sixth on the points table with six points from four matches and thus are behind Delhi by just one point.
Shillong Lajong head coach Bobby Nongbet in the pre-match press conference expressed that he is excited going into tomorrow’s match after the victory against Gokulam but they will not take Delhi FC lightly after their win against Aizawl FC away from home and they are also a good side as well with some experienced players in their team.
Nonetheless, it promises to be an exciting game to watch as both teams have come up with a win in their previous match.
The tickets for this match will be on sale at the SSA Stadium ticket counters in Polo Ground.
