Shillong, May 8: Kendriya Vidyalaya Umroi Cantonment held a session on “Operation Sindoor,” for students of classes IX and XII to create awareness about national security, patriotism, discipline, and the vital role the Indian armed forces play in safeguarding the nation.
The session provided an interactive platform for students to engage with important themes surrounding leadership and civic responsibility.
Colonel Justin, the commanding officer of 17 JAT Regiment and a Sena Medal awardee, led the session and interacted with students. He delivered a presentation on the challenges of national security and emphasised the importance of unity and discipline.
